Position Available: Dental Nurse/Receptionist (Permanent Part/Full Time Basis)

Our growing practice features 5 chairs dedicated to general, cosmetic and implant dental treatments! Dental Members Macquarie Street needs a highly skilled team member who shares our commitment to patient care and excellence.

This role is an opportunity to bring your technical experience to a practice that values attention to detail and professionalism.

THE ROLE:

4-5 days per week within practice hours (8:30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday)

Reception and patient care duties

Appointment schedule management

General dental knowledge and explanation skills

Computer literacy with dental programs (experience with Praktika, preferred)

Professional phone manner

Chairside assistance for all procedures

Sterilisation and instrument reprocessing

ABOUT YOU:

A self-motivated individual with a commitment to best practices and patient experience

Minimum 1 year experience as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist in a busy practice

Demonstrated knowledge of current infection control standards and protocols

Competence in a sterile surgical environment, including preparation and post-operative procedures

Computer literacy is essential; experience with dental software such as Praktika is preferred

Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks to work efficiently

Reliability, communication skills, and a positive attitude are essential, along with the willingness to learn and bring a positive and bubbly ‘can-do’ attitude to our clinic!
