ProQuest Recruitment are searching for Plastic Technicians!!!

Multiple operators that are competent and licensed forklift drivers (High Reach experience REQUIRED ) with plastics experience being preferred. and Blow moulding and / or extrusion experience is a MUST.

Responsibilities:

• Work across both Blow Moulding and Extrusion Machines in order to maintain optimal efficiency in production
• Machine set up and troubleshooting (Any types, no specific machine brand requirements)
• Maintain machines to minimise downtime
• Test runs and quality checks
• Ensure safe operation of all machinery whilst achieving daily manufacturing targets
• Maintain consistent product specification and standards
• Monitor and troubleshoot machines to ensure safety and functionality
• Recommend initiatives to improve overall efficiency
• Learn and undertake tasks and projects as required
• Use the Forklift to stack and organise stocked pallets
• Understanding of policies & procedures relating to standard operating practices, HSE and Quality
• Ability to apply required housekeeping standards
• Ability to record data as necessary
• Operation of basic machine functions

Requirements:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will require the following;

• Blow Moulding &/or Extrusion Techniques / Machine Experience (Essential)
• LF License (High Reach experience REQUIRED )
• Excellent communication skills
• Great problem-solving ability with excellent attention to detail
• Able to work a 12-hour day on a 5 day rotating roster (including weekends if you are available) At least able to work 2-4 shifts per week
