About the Role

As a Family Law Solicitor, you will be crucial in providing exceptional services across the full spectrum of family law matters in addition to domestic violence applications and some child protection matters.

Your duties will include but not be limited to :

• Providing clients with strategi advice and guiding them through complex legal processes both confidently and empathetically.
• Preparing and reviewing written material (incl. court documents, binding agreements, and external correspondence).
• Representing clients throughout all stages of their family law matter (incl. negotiating, mediating, in-court representation etc.).
• Conducting legal research and analysis to support client cases.
• Maintaining a professional and ethical approach in all client interactions.
• Collaborating with the wider team to ensure efficient and effective case management.
• Prioritising client care.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

• Full Australian working rights essential.
• Min. 1 year post-admission experience in family law essential.
• Demonstrated background in legal support, administration or a related field preferrable.
• Understanding of conflict resolution techniques (useful in supporting mediations or helping clients manage their emotions during difficult times).
• Strong legal research and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong written and verbal advocacy skills essential.
• Ability to manage your time efficiently and to collaborate with others to ensure outcomes are achieved.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software (experience with Outlook and document management systems advantageous).
