About the role:
Duties for the role will include:
- Lead and develop a high-performing HR Business Partner team, ensuring effective delivery of core HR services and fostering a positive, collaborative work culture aligned with SALHN's strategic direction.
- Provide expert HR advice and project management for organisational changes, restructures, and policy implementations, ensuring seamless transitions and achievement of project milestones.
- Deliver high-level technical HR advice to senior executives, manage complex industrial and case management issues, and coordinate HR functions to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment of HR services with organisational needs and fostering collaborative partnerships
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, develop and implement workforce strategies, and contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures to enhance organizational effectiveness and compliance.
About you:
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering high-level HR consultancy and strategic advisory services to senior leadership, including navigating complex legislative landscapes and representing organisational interests in critical matters
- Highly developed skills in negotiation, collaboration, and communication (both written and verbal), including the ability to produce and review executive-level briefings.
- Ability to conduct complex investigations, manage projects, and analyse data to develop effective HR policies and solutions, while managing competing priorities.
- Sound understanding of contemporary HR practices, SA Public Sector policies, employment agreements, and relevant legislation
