Are you someone who is enthusiastic about bringing learning to life for students in an outside-school environment? We are looking for a tutor to join our wonderful, small team in Rockhampton in July 2025. We are looking for someone who is comfortable assisting children with homework, preparing for exams and assignments and assisting with topics that they may be struggling with at school. We believe in making learning fun and engaging, so are looking for a tutor who is happy to make learning practical, interesting and build a relationship with children.

Ultimately, you will work directly with Secondary students (Grades 7-12) in a one-on-one environment, delivering in-person tutoring, to assist them in gaining a better understanding of concepts taught in the classroom.

Casual- $37 – $45 per hour

Requirements and skills:

Available Monday-Friday; within 2pm-7pm

Approx 25 hours per week

Current Blue card required (or willing to apply for one)

Demonstrate academic competence in Mathematics and Science subjects

Capabilities to teach higher level mathematics such as Math Methods and Specialist Mathematics

General understanding of school subjects and Queensland Secondary-School requirements
