Job Opportunity: Accounts Officer (8-Week Contract)
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join a dynamic team in Perth. This is an immediate start position, offered as an 8-week contract with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions
• Prepare and submit the monthly Business Activity Statement (BAS) on time
• Process payroll using Xero, ensuring the timely and accurate disbursement of salaries
• Contribute to the preparation of monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements
• Offer general administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the business

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable
• Experience in preparing and submitting BAS
• Proficient in Xero for payroll processing
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Available to start immediately
