Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to start immediately on an initial 3 month temporary contract.

In this position you will be joining a well-respected and highly regarded employer of choice in their sector, boasting an outstanding office location easily accessible by car or public transport.

This position is offered as an initial 3 month temporary contract with an immediate start required. The role has the potential to transition to permanent employment, although not yet guaranteed.

The Role

Working within a friendly team environment your varied role will include:

• Processing invoices in the accounts payable system
• Process manual invoices in the general ledger and create intercompany journals where required
• Review invoice authorisations
• Reconciling supplier statements with invoices
• Payment of staff reimbursements
• Reconciliation of monthly credit card statements
• Reconciling of petty cash including checking receipts, authorisation, coding and posting in the general ledger

Your Profile

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum 3 years' experience in a high-volume transactional environment. You will possess an intermediate level of Excel skills (pivot tables/ V-lookups), with an aptitude to learn new finance systems quickly.

Excellent communication skills, a customer service approach, and the ability to work to deadlines is also required.
