ICT Project Manager - ICT Infrastructure
12 months contract with the possibility to extend
$970 p/d

The ICT Project Manager will manage and deliver a dynamic portfolio aimed at empowering frontline workers by implementing next-generation critical communication technologies and ensuring continued support for vital systems. Key projects include replacing the telephony solution (PABX), upgrading satellite dish systems, replacing radio systems, and revamping critical communication infrastructure, among others.

Skills Required

• Ability to manage ICT projects end to end and contribute to their success across multiple disciplines including Market Engagement (procurement), Change Management, Business Analysis, Solution Design, Resource Management and Vendor Management in addition to core Project Management skills
• Ability to complete and maintain detailed project schedules including resource utilisation, demand forecast and critical path dependency mapping information
• Broad understanding of ICT communications, infrastructure, and application domains
• Broad understanding of formal market engagements such as tenders including probity requirements and NSW Government standard ICT contract frameworks
• Ability to facilitate workshops and work with technical staff such as ICT Solution Architects, ICT Managers, ICT Technical staff as well as other individual contributors to identify and resolve issues, facilitate prioritisation and decision making and identify items for escalation while securing ongoing momentum and focus on delivery

Experience

• Experience managing ICT Infrastructure projects is essential
• Experience in leading projects for mission-critical systems (preferably in government)
• Working with market engagements/procurement (e.g. RFQ, RFT, etc) is essential. Government procurements preferred
• 3 days working in office / 2 days WFH (ability to work from different locations)
