The Role:
Joining our Clinical Team as an Occupational Therapist, you will provide therapy services to a diverse range of clients, including seniors, with the potential to provide brokered services to external stakeholders. Additionally, you will;
Provide assessments and therapy services to support community access, enhance independence in activities of daily living, self-care, provision of assistive equipment and home modifications, cognitive assessment and support strategies, find motor and uppler limb skills within the home and community settings.
Ongoing evaluation and review of customer's progress in line with their personal goals and plans
Develop and deliver therapy programmes
Ensure appropriate consultation with relevant stakeholders
Maintain clinical records, client documentation and provide information and report on services delivered
Provide training to relevant staff regarding the use of mobility aids and equipment when required
What We're Looking For:
Relevant Degree qualifications in Occupational Therapy
Current AHPRA registration
Previous experience in the Aged Care sector is desirable but not essential
Able to build trusting, working relationships throughout the organisation to support a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills with a strong focus on customer outcomes
