The role

The position is responsible for optimising the cargo capacity of the flights operated by airlines from Australia.

Key responsibilities:

Develop and manage relationships with customers (freight forwarders) and provide the highest level of customer experience.

Manage cargo reservations and bookings based on available capacity.

Work with the team to ensure optimum utilisation of cargo capacity through cargo planning.

Plan the cargo loads on the flights, prioritise the shipments and send the instructions to Ground Handling Agent (GHA) for execution.

Follow-up on the execution of that plan to ensure a high quality of service (flown as booked).

Liaise with airline and GHA to resolve service problems and follow-up to ensure resolution.

Maintain a high level of professionalism and establish a positive rapport.

About You

Experience in airfreight industry.

Proven experience in customer service.

You will have excellent communication skills.

Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Dangerous Goods Certification would be an advantage.
