Trade Assistant – Metal Fabrication
Location: Bibra Lake, WA

Calibre Spraying is a leading manufacturer of state-of-the-art spraying equipment for the Australian farming industry. Our fabrication workshop in Bibra Lake is expanding, and we are looking for a skilled and motivated Trade Assistant with experience in metal fabrication to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating a band saw and interpreting technical drawings

Operating bending machinery to specified tolerances

Assisting with welding preparation, including cutting, grinding, and material handling

Measuring and marking out materials accurately

Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively

Assisting with the assembly and fabrication of components

General workshop duties such as cleaning, organising materials, and maintaining tools and equipment

Supporting tradespeople to ensure efficient workflow and production

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment

Ability to read and understand technical drawings

A proactive and hands-on approach to work

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)

Willingness to learn and contribute to a dynamic team environment
