Operative Intelligence (or OI) is a team of customer experience and technology professionals on a mission to reimagine the service experience for businesses and customers globally. We currently have customers in the US and Australia. We have spent our careers ‘in the work’ helping businesses transform their service experience, along with working closely with frontline teams to deliver great outcomes for customers.

At the core of what we do is knowing that organisations that really understand why their customers are contacting them can make better decisions and deliver better experiences. We pair clever people with cutting edge tech to help organisations understand the root cause of why their customers are contacting them and what to improve. Ultimately, our platform empowers all layers of the organisation from frontline agents up to executives.

We’re growing our team in Australia and are looking for clever people that are passionate about customer experience and tech to join our product team. Our product team is the face of OI. Working with our customers to deliver our services, help shape our product and improve what we offer. Working in our product team, the Customer Data Annotator will primarily be focused on training our artificial intelligence (ai); with the support of the rest of the team of course! This is an entry-level role with the opportunity to learn a lot, progress and grow in a cutting edge space, working with good people on tough problems. Ultimately what we do is very unique, so we’ll train you on the how. We are looking for flexibility to learn new things, attention to detail and a positive attitude when things change.

What are the role responsibilities?

As a member of the OI Product team you will play an important role in the delivery of AI driven insights to our customers

Reviewing and classifying data inline with our methodologies (we’ll train you on these)

Quality checking/reviewing outputs generated by our AI

What are the role requirements?

You are dependable, trustworthy, and capable of working independently and efficiently

You’re happy to ask questions, clarify where you don’t understand, and contribute to the broader team

You think analytically and find comfort in repetitious and detail-oriented work

You are flexible and embrace change in a fast-growing startup

You communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal forms

You have a stable internet connection

You are able to maintain a minimum of 15 hours per week, with opportunities to increase hours during busy periods

You are available during standard business hours (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM), with a preference for those who can work on Mondays

What’s in it for the right person?

A competitive remuneration package with potential to earn performance based incentives

Exposure to various industries and clients

A company laptop for you to do your best work

Supportive managers and colleagues

Work from home for the most part (we have an office and expect flexibility to come in when needed)

A chance to be a part of a fast-growing company in the booming Artificial Intelligence industry

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in Australia: you must be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident, New Zealand citizen, or a non- AU / NZ citizen with a valid visa that provides work rights.

Operative Intelligence is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
