Contract QA Automation Engineer Opportunity – Join a Leading Enterprise!

Location: Sydney
Duration: 12 months with possibility of extension

We are looking for a Contract QA Automation Engineer to join a leading enterprise business and take ownership of key automation testing initiatives. This role focuses on both API & UI automation, with responsibilities spanning across test strategy development, framework migration, and more.

Key Objectives:

• API Automation: Migrate tests, review and automate endpoints, enable framework for pen-test proxy, and create mock environments.
• UI Automation: Enhance user journeys using Playwright, Applitools visual testing, and create tests for various payment types and account actions.
• Overall Strategy: Improve regression test coverage, define testing guidelines, investigate flaky tests, and decommission legacy testing services.

Skills Needed:

• Expertise in API automation (Karate, Postman, etc.)
• UI automation experience with Playwright and Applitools
• Strong knowledge of test strategies and framework development
• Experience working in enterprise-level environments
