About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant to join our client's dynamic team in Hawthorn, Victoria. In this full-time role, you will be an integral part of the dental practice, providing comprehensive support to the dentists and ensuring smooth operations.

What you'll be doing

Assisting dentists during surgical and restorative procedures

Chairside assisting for All-on-4 and single implants.

Sterilising and preparing instruments, equipment and the treatment area

Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation

Ordering and managing dental supplies

Providing exceptional patient care and customer service

Undertaking general administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

Formal qualification as a Dental Assistant or equivalent experience

Proven experience as a Surgical Dental Assistant, ideally within a fast-paced dental practice

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both patients and the dental team

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Proficient in using dental software and technology

Passion for delivering high-quality patient care
