The Role:

We are currently seeking a Project Electrical Supervisor who will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of an of a MCC upgrade project in a Central Queensland open cut coal mine.

Project delivery includes leading an execution team on site for project delivery.

The Project Electrical Supervisor will provide support for the Project Manager to hit all targets in the project schedule including managing personnel and multiple stakeholders to take the project from initiation through to final handover in operation meeting client expectations i.e. safety, quality, client satisfaction and profitability.

The correct candidate must have excellent project electrical and leadership skills and have a background working with industrial electrical projects. Excellent risk management and safety behaviours will also be key requirement of this role.

Project Electrical Supervisor minimum skills and experience required:

Supervisor S1,S2,S3 and G2 qualifications

Electrical Supervision Experience (5+ years)

QLD Electrical License

Electrical Commissioning Experience (3+ years)

Open Coal experience (more than 18 months coal experience preferred)

Current Coal Board Medical/CBM (newly known as HA)

Current Standard 11 Statement of Attainment

Valid Driver’s License

HV Switching Experience

Electrical Substations & MCCs

Coal Preparation Plants

Experience and knowledge of wiring systems and control

BMA Site Experience
