Job Summary

As a Data Analyst – Retail Insights, you will be responsible for analyzing sales performance, customer behavior, and inventory trends. You will play a key role in delivering data-driven insights to optimize retail strategies, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to track key retail performance metrics.

Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Conduct customer behavior analysis to support targeted marketing and merchandising strategies.

Monitor inventory levels and provide data-backed recommendations for stock management and replenishment.

Collaborate with teams across marketing, merchandising, and operations to drive data-driven decision-making.

Use predictive analytics to forecast sales trends and anticipate consumer demand.

Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation and quality control processes.

Present findings in a clear, compelling manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.

Expertise in Power BI is essential, including dashboard creation, data modeling, and DAX calculations.

Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel for data extraction and analysis.

Experience handling large datasets and performing statistical analysis.

Solid understanding of key retail metrics, including sales conversion rates, average transaction value, and inventory turnover.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Experience with machine learning or predictive analytics is a plus.
