Fuse Recruitment are currently partnered with our client in search of an experienced Quality & Food Safety Officer to join their established team in Brisbane!

Our client is a leading manufacturer of premium dry blend products, such as protein powder blends and powdered sweeteners, dedicated to supplying a high quality product and service to the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct internal audits and monitor compliance with regulatory bodies and industry standards including SQF, ACO, HALAL, KOSHER, and Allergen management
• Collect and analyse samples of received and finished products
• Ensure product specifications for Allergen control and viability are met
• Raise, investigate and close out food safety and quality non-conformances
• Perform product and process assessments and provide solutions for quality issues

Key Requirements:
• Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
