Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with strong C++ capabilities to join a fast-paced team developing cutting-edge technology solutions. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining complex applications used in high-performance distributed systems and simulation environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement software using modern C++, focusing on maintainability, performance, and reliability

Develop applications for Windows platforms, including deployment and integration with existing systems

Create user interfaces using Qt

Contribute to distributed application development over Ethernet

Implement and manage databases using SQL

Work with multi-threaded systems and maintain concurrency control

Utilise development tools such as Visual Studio, VS Code, Git, Jira, Confluence, and Python-based test frameworks

Preferred Experience:

C++20 and Linux application development experience

Experience with simulation/test frameworks in Python

Familiarity with agile and waterfall development methodologies

Soft Skills & Competencies:

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey design concepts clearly

Effective team collaboration with cross-functional teams, leadership, and clients

Strong self-management and planning capabilities

Technical ownership and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes

Flexibility to take on tasks beyond the core technical scope when needed
