About the role
Yojee is looking for a Front End Engineer who is excited about developing and designing software services in a greenfield environment focusing on scalability and performance. Together with the team, you will have ownership of the services you build, and you love to share your ideas regarding architecture and functionality.

Duties and Responsibilities

Guide technical design and architecture

Work with product people to understand and flesh out requirements for implementations

Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable services

Drive best practices and produce high-quality code

Lead troubleshooting of complex bugs and issues

Ensure deliverables meet the quality bar

Requirements

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or its equivalent related experience.

2+ years of experience in the development of various complex frontend systems.

Experience with Node.js, React.js or React native, JavaScript & TypeScript

Advanced CSS skills

Experienced in high load, high traffic transactional systems.

Attention to detail and reliability are what you take pride in.

Ability to work and contribute in a team environment.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

Open-source repositories and contributions.

Experience working on greenfield software projects.

Experience working with one of these languages, Elixir, Ruby on Rails, Go, Scala, Haskell or any other functional programming language.
