PREP CHEFS
JRM is looking for a skilled and passionate Prep Chef to join our busy corporate kitchen team, Monday to Friday. If you are a dedicated Prep Chef that can commit to Full time office hours in a busy commercial kitchen, then check out the details below!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including but not limited to chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and preparing sauces.
• Follow recipes and portion guidelines accurately to maintain consistency and quality in food preparation.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels by monitoring stock and notifying management of any shortages.
• Ensure cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen by following sanitation standards, cleaning protocols and helping out with washing up.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to streamline prep processes and improve efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience as a prep chef or in a similar role in a professional kitchen environment.
• Proficiency in basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Team player with good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Full Time availability.
