NutriPATH is a rapidly growing, privately owned, medical laboratory that specialises in the area of functional health and well-being pathology testing. Our experienced clinical and scientific staff are pioneers in the industry of functional medicine and are proactively involved in the introduction of new and advanced pathology testing within Australasia.

Opportunities have become available for a Laboratory Assistant or Technician, to work with our friendly and professional team in Specimen Reception. We are seeking an energetic and proactive team member with proficient data entry skills to join us. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, sorting and processing samples. They will also sort and organise shipments of samples or facilitate samples to internal/external laboratories. It would be beneficial for the candidate to have previous experience in pathology and a familiarity with medical terminology. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Associate degree or diploma with subjects relevant to pathology or laboratory operations awarded by a recognised Australian TAFE or RTO or equivalent experience

Proficient in a range of computer programs and databases with accurate data entry skills

Minimum 10,000 kph with high accuracy in data entry with Administration and data entry experience

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)

Ensure that all WH&S requirements are observed

Mature attitude with sensitivity to the confidential nature of patient information

Strong sense of teamwork

A can-do attitude

Ability to adapt quickly and cope with change

This role is offered on a full-time basis working day shift Monday to Friday (eg: 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm).
