More about the role

Physio Inq Engadine + Sutherland is a local family-owned business that is currently seeking a Remedial Massage Therapist to join our team who has experience in or career desire to work within an interdisciplinary Allied Health care team. We have a cosy, private massage space at Engadine available, with admin & laundry support, for a therapist who shares our philosophy and values. We have many client leads through online bookings and other marketing channels, as well as cross referral from physiotherapy clients. Wednesday and/or Friday only; capacity for approx. 8 hrs per week.

What you'll do

· You will have a varied caseload of clients requesting Relaxation, Remedial, Sports and Swedish massage to help with anxiety and tension relief; back, neck and shoulder pain; headaches; pre and postnatal conditions; muscle stiffness; and more.

· Collaborate with other members of our team including Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Client Relationship Managers to support our client’s needs and make a real difference.

· Assist in building relationships with the local community network, including sport clubs, gyms, local doctors and surgeons, and other businesses, to help build your own client base and area of interest.

What you need

· Passion and the drive to make a difference

· Strong interpersonal skills, i.e. a great communicator and 'people person' among your clients and team

· Keen critical thinking skills to create personal treatment plans

· Full of initiative & enthusiasm

· Remedial massage therapy qualification with private health fund accreditation

· Australian citizen or permanent resident

· Empathy and understanding of requirements for ongoing vaccinations and employment clearances to protect our vulnerable clients
