SALARY- $ 144,826 P.A PLUS SUPER
The School:
Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School is situated in the city of Palmerston, Northern Territory. The school caters from Transition to Year 6 and has an Early Learning Centre Program and an Outside School Hours Care program. The school commits to providing excellence in education and nurturing faith-filled learners who are respectful and resilient in living the commandment of Jesus, “Love one another as I have loved you” (John: 13:34).
The position:
The Deputy Principal holds a senior leadership position in a Catholic School. The Deputy Principal is called to be a person of faith and vision, committed to Catholic education and capable of inspiring and guiding the school community. The Deputy Principal works collaboratively with the Principal and other members of the school leadership team to provide strategic and operational leadership in the following areas: Catholic Identity, Leadership, Teaching & Learning, Pastoral Care & Wellbeing, Community and Culture and Finance, Facilities and Resources.
Essential Criteria:
A Catholic who is an active member of a Catholic Eucharistic community.
While preference is given to practising Catholics, applications from active members of other Christian denominations who share a commitment to Catholic values and participation in Catholic worship are also welcome.
Postgraduate qualifications or undertaking to commence studies in Religious Education, Theology and/or Educational Leadership.
Registration or eligibility for registration with NT Teacher Registration Board.
Working with Children Card (Ochre Card NT).
