We're recruiting for a Mental Health Intake Nurse registered with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA) to join our Avive Clinic Brisbane team on a full-time, part-time and/or casual basis. Penalties and loadings in addition to the advertised hourly rate apply.

Your opportunity
The role reports to the National Intake Manager, and will be responsible for the following:
Provide initial assessment and screening for people inquiring about our services and a further comprehensive assessment, if appropriate
Manage and respond to all incoming queries and referrals
Coordinate the intake process and provide support to patients, carers, doctors, referrers, and others
Collect and accurately record data such as demographic, social, and clinical, consent forms, health insurance information and other key pieces of information from new and returning patients prior to admission
Develop and deliver resource information to inquirers
Capacity to make decisions, negotiate, find solutions, and escalate when required
Communicate to a diverse range of audiences in an informative, engaging, and persuasive manner.
