What we do:

Our team builds, services and maintains an industry leading diamond drilling company's assets. We take pride in the relationships built and look forward to making many more. We are responsible for the electrical support of the rigs on various mine sites surrounding Kalgoorlie. This covers service and maintenance, breakdowns, general overview of the electrical systems and good old banter with the boys.

Qualifications:

Valid WA Electrical Workers Licence

C Class Drivers Licence

Underground Mining Experience _ Rig Maintenance - Desirable

Be Willing To Learn and Be Part of a Team

Ability To Understand Electrical Drawings - Desirable

Ability To Pass Monthly Drug & Alcohol Test & Current Pre-Employment Medical

Morning Pre-Start Site Meeting

Information of the underground day to day activities for you to be aware of.

Day Heading Underground or Surface Works

Visiting the underground Drill sites and conducting a visual inspection of the Rig, catching up with the Drill operators to resolve any electrical issues they have picked up on the Rig.

Monthly electrical servicing may take place on certain days. Attend to breakdowns and gain valuable fault finding knowledge through experience working with both HV and LV circuits.

Wrapping Up Your Day

End your day with a sense of accomplishment, knowing you've contributed to our our common goal. Touching base with the team and giving feedback of how the day went, raise concerns with management and supervisors so we can enhance your next working day. Putting through parts orders if any consumables were used during the day and if a restock is needed.

Share fortnightly barbeques with the members on site at the end of shift and enjoy the banter.

Plan for the following day and importantly be home for an early dinner.
