Electrician – Remote Maintenance & Installations

Location: Remote WA – Project Based Roster

Employment Type: Full-Time | FIFO

Fletcher Electrical Contracting is a proudly WA-owned and operated business with a strong reputation in the mining and resources sector. We are currently seeking an experienced and self-motivated Electrician to join our remote operations team. This role involves working independently and as part of a small, close-knit crew across regional WA sites.

Key Responsibilities:

· Carry out electrical maintenance tasks, including statutory inspections, testing, and accurate record-keeping.

· Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimise plant downtime.

· Install, upgrade, and maintain LV motors, lighting systems, power reticulation, control systems, and more.

· Maintain, fault-find and repair PLC systems, including Citect and SCADA.

· Calibrate and troubleshoot instruments such as Weightometers and Vega Level sensors.

· Experience of communication systems (e.g. MIRI)

· Operate and maintain mobile equipment (e.g. Trucks, Loaders, Bobcats) as needed.

· Assist with plant shutdowns and ensure optimal equipment function.

· Comply with all safety standards and promote a proactive safety culture.

· Participate in safety and training activities including Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and hazard identification.

· Maintain clear and professional communication with supervisors, team members, and clients.

What We’re Looking For:

· Current WA "A" Grade Electrical License

· HR driver’s license.

· Experience in fixed plant electrical maintenance, ideally in crushing, processing and borefield operations.

· Ability to fault-find on electrical & control circuits.

· Experience with PLC systems and basic ladder logic understanding.

· Sound electrical mechanical troubleshooting skills.

· Strong focus on safety and compliance in high-risk environments.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Ability to work autonomously and within a team.

· Must be willing to work with a Powerline crew as required.

· Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights certificates (desirable).
