Your role:
Upon commencement, training of our remediation processes will be provided in small, learning focused teams ran by fully qualified remediation technicians. Your job role will include HVAC decontamination, ductwork cleaning, ductwork replacement and repair, mould remediation and treatment, and other remediation tasks.
Due to the nature of the business, work hours can vary and may include a combination of day and night works in various locations throughout the Pilbara region.
The rate is awarded on a level based merit system that supports both skilled workers and those keen to learn new skills, with opportunities for progression at every level.
The successful applicant will have:
Rio Tinto Induction (essential)
BHP Induction (desired)
General Construction Induction Card (White Card WA).
Essential tickets (EWP, Confined Space & Working at Heights).
Hold a valid driver's license.
Police clearance (or ability to obtain).
Australian permanent residency or Australian Citizenship (we will not accept working visa holders for this position).
Willingness to undergo additional courses as and when needed.
Computer access for ability to undergo inductions.
Desirable skills/characteristics:
Experience working as a HVAC technician or similar.
Construction experience.
Fast learner.
Hard working.
Positive attitude.
Comfortable working both in a team and independently.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Using initiative to come up effective solutions.
Maintenance work capabilities.
