Work From Home, Onsite Computer Repair Technician
Location: Gold Coast & Brisbane (**MUST BE BASED WITHIN THESE AREAS)

About the Role
SEQ IT Services is looking for an Onsite Technician to join our growing team capable to Work from Home when not onsite. Looking for an applicant who wants to stay within the company long term.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Professional computer troubleshooting skills or experience as an onsite technician is essential.
This role requires a well organised individual with good communication skills to travel around the Gold Coast & or Brisbane (depending on your base location). Able to fix problems onsite that may include software, hardware and networking issues.
The successful applicant will also need to be able to work unsupervised and be motivated to work longer hours when required. Technical training can be provided, the successful applicant will need to bring their own problem-solving skills and self-motivation to this role.
The position is a contracted full-time role, work from home and onsite. You will need your own reliable vehicle. Fuel and car maintenance will be covered by us.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to helpdesk tickets, emails, and phone calls to resolve IT issues.
Provide support for Windows systems & Microsoft 365 applications.
Manage Microsoft 365 user accounts, including password resets and setups within Entra (Azure AD).
Deliver on-site IT support for hardware, software, and network issues across locations.
Strong IT security principles & attention to detail.
Hardware and Software Maintenance:
Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Support and troubleshoot networked devices and peripherals.
Ensure endpoint security through antivirus management and software updates.
Networking:
Troubleshoot wired and wireless network issues.
Assist with basic configuration of network equipment under guidance.
IT Setup and Maintenance:
Assist with setting up IT systems, network infrastructure.
Conduct regular maintenance of IT systems to minimise downtime.
Identifying potential issues and recommendations.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of support activities in the ticketing system.
Create and update user guides for common issues.
Collaboration and Escalation:
Collaborate with higher-level support for advanced troubleshooting.
Provide feedback to improve IT processes and user experiences.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Office Suite.
Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and remote desktop tools.
Working Conditions
Full-time role with a mix of office-based and field work.
Participation in after-hours support may be required.
