About the role

Little Language Speech Pathology is seeking a passionate and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our growing team in Ashmore, Queensland.

This is an opportunity for a dedicated speech pathologist to work closely with the practice SLP owners and be part of a healthy and vibrant team with genuine support, flexibility, a manageable caseload, a focus on personal wellbeing and professional development, and long-term career growth.

What you'll be doing

Assessing, diagnosing and treating a diverse range of communication disorders in children aged 18 months to 18 years (predominately two to eight years), supporting a range of differences in speech, language and literacy, in clinic and education settings

Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to help clients achieve their speech and language goals

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, families and caregivers to provide holistic, client-centred care

Maintaining accurate and detailed clinical documentation

Participating in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech pathology

What we're looking for

Energy and passion for working with neurodivergent and neurotypical children

Strong clinical skills and reasoning in assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build genuine relationships and effectively engage with clients and their families, and multidisciplinary health partners

Adaptability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice, and for upholding the integrity of our speech pathology industry

Strong organisational skills and initiative to reflect and adapt your own and client goals and obtain results
