Hourly rate: $55 - $65 plus superannuation

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation & Injury Management Specialist to manage complex workers’ compensation claims and drive effective return-to-work strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complex workers’ compensation claims, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
• Develop and implement claims management strategies to improve outcomes, reduce claim durations and costs.
• Provide high-level advice on injury management, rehabilitation plans, and early intervention initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive health and safety strategies.
• Use strategic thinking to manage return-to-work processes in a high-risk environment.
• Maintain strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence and drive positive outcomes.
• Ensure effective time management, prioritisation, and decision-making in a fast-paced setting.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience managing complex workers’ compensation claims in a healthcare or high-risk industry.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and associated regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to implement strategic claims management and return-to-work initiatives.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s licence (NSW/Australia) and willingness to travel as required.
• SIRA accreditation – Return to Work Coordinator Certificate.
