About the Role PSG are proud to present an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mine Accountant to join a leading ASX-listed mining company on a FIFO basis from Perth. This is a 3-month contract role, supporting multiple mine sites across WA. The role is operationally focused, with exposure to month-end reporting, cost control, variance analysis, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

• Month-end processes including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Operational cost analysis to support site leadership teams.
• Forecasting & budgeting for site operations.
• Capital & cost tracking, ensuring alignment with budgets.
• Variance analysis on production and financial data.
• Business partnering with site teams to drive efficiency and cost savings.
• Pronto system maintenance & reporting, ensuring accurate financial data.

About You

• 5+ years of commercial accounting experience, ideally in mining or heavy industry.
• Expert user of Pronto ERP (essential).
• Strong month-end and operational accounting experience.
• FIFO experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work autonomously on-site, with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• CPA / CA qualification
