About the Role
Grampians Health Ballarat is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Infection Prevention & Control team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on infection prevention across various healthcare settings, ensuring compliance with NSQHS Standards. The position involves promoting infection control, supporting staff, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote infection prevention at all levels.
• Engage with stakeholders and assist in data collection.
• Monitor infectious patients and assist with outbreaks.
• Support staff in safe infection control practices.
• Participate in infection prevention projects as required.
• Assist with guideline reviews and improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and quality improvement.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Current working with children check and driver's license.
• Post-graduate qualifications in Infection Control (desirable).
