The role
The Service Enablement Coordinator is responsible for leading and optimising non- customer-facing functions to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.
This role plays a pivotal part in supporting staff with the tools and resources necessary for seamless operations, fostering an innovative and high-performing culture, and driving change initiatives across the organisation.
This role will involve auditing against the Housing Standards and Quality Framework (HSQF) and internal policies and procedures, ensuring compliance, and providing insights to drive process improvement. You will play a key part in ensuring the effectiveness of programs designed to meet the needs of vulnerable populations, supported by government funding and tender applications.
This is a Permanent, Full-time (38 hours per week) position based in our State Administration Office in South Brisbane.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in customer service excellence, community housing, social services, public administration, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of housing support services, community engagement, regulatory compliance, and relevant legislation (HSQF).
- Proven experience with working with data and relevant tools (MS Excel).
- Proven ability to lead and engage multidisciplinary teams, including both paid staff and volunteers.
- Strong leadership and management skills to foster a positive work culture, drive change, and encourage collaboration.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and evaluate initiatives within timelines and budgets.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
