Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking Chemical production workers with Forklift licence to join their client in Bayswater.

Successful applicants will be available Monday - Friday 11 AM - 7 PM

Job Requirements:

• Experience in a specialty chemical manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of Dangerous Goods Transport and Storage Regulations
• Valid forklift driver's license.
• Must be able to work 38 hours week
• Must have good written and verbal skills
• Must be comfortable working with chemicals and hazardous products

Duties and responsibilities involved:

• Demonstrate and promote a proactive commitment to safety, health and environment whilst complying with all laws and Company policies.
• Prepare chemicals for mixing.
• Make batches of chemical products in accordance with written instructions.
• Prepare packaging materials and pack product in accordance with written instructions.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Move raw / finished product within and outside warehouse environment.
• Perform warehousing duties as directed.
• Ensure good housekeeping of work area.
• Communicate effectively with production and warehouse team members to ensure targets are met.
• Prompt reporting of safety breaches to the Site Manager.
• Ensure adherence to all Environment, Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in tool box meetings, safety initiatives, risk assessments and incident reporting.
