We are partnering with our client who is looking for a production operator to help with their team in formulations.
You will be responsible for undertaking formulation duties to ensure company objectives are achieved safely and effectively.

$36.35 an hour
Training provided
Must have experience with chemical field
Day shifts: 8am - 5pm
Ideally need counterbalance forklift driving experience and licence
Monday - Friday with potential weekend work
ASAP Start
Based in Derrimut

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare plant and equipment according to relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for formulation.
• Carry out formulations as per the Job Sheet specifications.
• Adhere to all general safety directions for the workplace and those outlined in the Job Sheets.
• Ensure all plant and equipment used in the formulation process are in safe, working order.
• Perform regular and routine maintenance on equipment when necessary.
• Verify that all raw materials are QC approved before use.
• Ensure proper return of raw materials to the store as prescribed.
• Take on additional duties as required or directed.

Stakeholders you will be dealing with:

• Formulations Supervisor
• Production Manager - Formulations
• Other Formulators
• QC team
• Transport Providers

Role Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role is essential.
• A forklift license is required. - LF - Counterbalance
• Ability to regularly lift up to 25 kgs.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Eagerness to learn new skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot formulation and equipment issues.
• Flexibility with working hours when required.
• Previous experience in chemical manufacturing and batch formulation is an advantage.
• Must be able to comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable legislative requirements.
