About the Role
As an Associate Planner, you’ll play an important role in supporting the planning team to ensure the best product mix and flow. Your responsibilities will include helping optimize store assortments to maximize sales and profitability, and assisting with team development through coaching and training.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning team with weekly shipping strategies, monthly inventory targets, and sales goals.
- Help monitor the business performance of multiple departments, aligning goals with company objectives.
- Assist in executing sales and profit objectives, implementing business plans aligned with the merchandise strategy.
- Anticipate and influence inventory flow within departments.
- Aid in the setup of new stores, ensuring the team meets new store targets and needs.
- Monitor financial and unit open-to-buy metrics.
- Develop and manage class plans to ensure appropriate flow to all stores.
About You
- Experience in Buying/Planning, with a good understanding of business acumen, financial plans, and market awareness.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Analytical mindset with strong influencing skills.
- Passionate about retail planning and dedicated to team development.
