We are a Kitchen and Bathroom Renovation business, we manufacture our own joinery in addition to providing our customers with a full project management service. Our office and manufacturing facility is centrally located in Botany. We mostly cater to the rental property market and have built relationships with numerous real estate agencies and long-term customers for over 25 years.

About you:

We are looking for someone who is experienced, qualified, organised and a team player to become part of our Small Friendly Team. The person that would best suit this role would be someone who understands all areas of cabinet-making business and who is able to plan ahead to ensure smooth day-to-day operations on allocated projects. We are looking for a proactive individual who can be hands on and enjoys being part of the entire process from manufacture through to install and delivery.

The person we need will have great problem-solving attributes and the ability to be flexible and thorough. You will need to have great communication skills and be a clear leader to the rest of the team.

About the role:

The foreman role is an integral part of the business. They will be responsible for the day to day operation and management of the factory and will lead by example. It is expected that the foreman will be dedicated to the job and work in an efficient manner.

The tasks required to be performed include the following:

- Planning the day’s events concerning the operation of the factory.

- Assigning daily tasks for other employees.

- Optimising Kitchen and/or any other cabinetry into production from the CAD software to the CNC Machine.

- Be responsible for operating and maintenance of all the machinery and equipment.

- Training and monitoring new and current employees and ensuring a competent standard is maintained

- Ensuring a constant level of cleanliness is maintained up to a required standard.

- Monitoring stock levels of any hardware and/or materials and placing orders as required.

- Calculating the weekly wages for employees to be submitted to management.

- Staying back and performing any overtime as required.

- Taking any phone and/or walk-in enquiries.

Skills and Experience:

Have forklift licence.

Full knowledge CNC Biesse rover b

Outstanding experience of Altendorf digital panel sor

Forklift licence

Good knowledge of Cabinet vision can put in production

Good installation skill

Good skill in assembling the simple cabinet minimum cut and edge

25-30 simple cab per day

Manage various projects simultaneously

Ensuring smooth process through the factory

Relevant Qualifications (Cabinet Making and Installing)

Understanding of drawings and specs

Oversee Coordinating Factory and Install staff

Quality control, WHS and SWMS

Progress reporting

Managing the team and ensure good working relationships

Motivating and leading
