We currently have multiple positions for experienced persons for in shopfitting, commercial joinery/carpentry, and commercial fitout to join our team and assist with our continued growth of commercial and shopfitting projects.

About the role

We’re on the hunt for a trade-qualified Factory Foreman to step up and take charge of a growing workshop. If you’re a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to get the best out of a team, this role is for you.

You’ll be responsible for leading and motivating a team of skilled tradespeople, ensuring jobs run on time and to the highest quality. With strong support from management, you’ll have the autonomy to drive efficiency, maintain smooth operations, and make an impact from day one.

Qualifications & experience

• Be trade qualified in cabinet making or shopfitting
• Be experienced in commercial building, cabinetmaking and/or shopfitting
• Proven leadership experience in a similar factory/workshop setting
• Have demonstrated experience interpreting plans
• Strong communication skills to manage and mentor a team
• Ability to problem-solve and keep projects on track
• Be experienced in managing relationships within a team environment
• Have your own hand/cordless tools
• Full drivers license and your own transport
• Be self-motivated with the demonstrated ability to take initiative in a fast paced environment

Tasks & responsibilities

• Be hands on with a variety of installation works including carpentry, cabinetry, framing, and finish works.
• Participate in identifying and problem-solving design/manufacturing issues and provide alternatives and solutions.
• Adhere to company policies regarding all aspects of quality assurance to ensure high standards are met throughout all projects.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to meet the scheduled project outcomes and to motivate fellow employees and sub-trades to get the job done on time and with high quality.
• Work with management to undertake works against construction timelines with a focus on meeting project deadlines.
