About the role

Join the dynamic team at El Jannah as an Assistant Restaurant Manager in one of multiple locations across Melbourne. This full-time role will see you play a key part in overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of our bustling restaurant venues. With a focus on exceptional customer service, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure the team delivers an outstanding dining experience to our valued customers every time.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and financial performance

Providing exceptional customer service and managing customer queries and complaints

Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards

Rostering and scheduling staff to meet business needs

Providing on-the-job training and development for team members

Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing them

Representing the restaurant at local community and industry events

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 years' experience in a similar Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Supervisor role

Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and leading high-performing teams

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with customers, staff, and key stakeholders

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering a consistently great customer experience
