Our client is seeking an experienced Sales/Warehouse Coordinator to join their team in East Keilor. In this role, you will contribute to achieving sales targets by supporting the team, coordinating sales activities, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle calls, emails, and messages, providing timely responses to customer inquiries.
  • Process orders via phone and email, ensuring accuracy in pricing and product details.
  • Input and process orders according to customer specifications, ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient handling of sales and queries.
  • Develop and maintain filing systems for sales and purchasing documents.
  • Promote company products and services to existing and potential customers.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Provide technical advice and consultation to customers on product specifications.
  • Implement and enforce sales and store procedures in line with company expectations.
  • Manage day-to-day counter sales operations.
  • Coordinate logistics for order placement and fulfillment.
  • Generate and follow up on sales leads from various sources.
  • Develop and maintain sales plans and targets.
  • Operate computer systems (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word) within company guidelines.
  • Provide support to other staff members as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Manage stock and inventory levels, including monitoring, reporting, and ordering.

Position Details:

  • Casual ongoing position with the potential for full-time permanent for the right candidate.
  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

What we are looking for:

  • Accrivia / Pronto
  • Outlook/ Excel/ Word
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively and efficiently unsupervised.
  • Reasonable level of computer proficiency:
  • High standard of literacy and numeracy.
  • High level communication skills, ability to interact appropriately with a variety of people face to face, from trades to business owners.
  • Trade/Construction industry knowledge would be highly advantageous.
  • Friendly and professional phone manner
  • Physical fitness is required as heavy lifting is involved in warehouse operations
  • Punctual and conscientious
  • Logical and organised for taking, placing, and expediting orders.
