What you'll be doing
The IMHAOD District Nurse Manager Inpatient Mental Service will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership within the Mental Health Inpatient Units across MNCLHD.
Driving excellence in governance and delivering key strategic, operational and business objectives for MNCLHD IMHAOD Directorate.
Responsible for management of human resource and/or financial and/or administrative and clinical services within the District Mental Health Inpatient Services.
The District Nurse Manager will ensure regular and systematic reviews occur of operations across the District MentaI Health Inpatient Services including:
• Compliance with policies, plans, procedures, and governance.
• Risks are identified and controls or systems are in place to alleviate them;
• Achievement of strategic and operational objectives and goals; implementation of appropriate controls; and monitoring and evaluation of performance.
The position reports directly to the Director of Integrated Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services.
About you
Do you have current Registration as a Registered Nurse with the National Nurses and Midwives Registration Board (AHPRA), with relevant postgraduates in clinical leadership or management and/or extensive experience across clinical and management or a combination of study and experience and demonstrated experience to efficiently manage and prioritise resource in line with budget allocation.

Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) covers an area of 11,335 square kilometres extending from Port Macquarie Hastings Local Government Area in the south to Coffs Harbour Local Government Area in the north.
