About the role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Plant & Machinery Operator to join our growing construction team at Splashaway in Castlemaine, Victoria. This full-time role is crucial in supporting the efficient delivery of our construction projects. As a Plant & Machinery Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of construction equipment to complete essential on-site tasks.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate a range of construction plant and equipment such as excavators

Installation of inground/above ground pools and spas

Work closely with the construction team to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner

Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

Provide support and guidance to less experienced operators as required

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Plant & Machinery Operator in the construction industry

Competent in the operation of a variety of construction equipment such as excavators and loaders

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and carry out basic maintenance

Excellent safety awareness and the ability to work in a safe and compliant manner

Good communication and teamwork skills to liaise effectively with the construction crew

Relevant licences and tickets (Excavator, loader and HC truck)
