About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Office Administrator to join our team in Brisbane. You will play a pivotal role in keeping the office running smoothly with a can do attitude and drive to get things done. You will be responsible for a number of administration duties which include: booking appointments with schools, travel, HR and Finance administration, hospitality and general office administration duties. If you love variety and challenge—great—the role will give you this and much more. Your friendly, welcoming and professional manner is essential in all aspects of the role.
You will:
· Be responsible for Finance admin – monitoring debtors, drafting payments and customer invoices and, co-managing the joint finance inbox.
· Manage supplier accounts - property, telecommunications, travel, storage facility plus others.
· Schedule appointments with schools and book the necessary travel for team members.
· Pack, send and invoice all product orders.
· Carry out HR admin tasks - set up new team members, administer leave and mileage process and, draft fortnightly payroll.
· Maintain a well-organised, high-functioning office environment, particularly across the shared office spaces.
· Be the first point of contact for incoming calls.
· Assist our support team with any onboarding and licence queries.
· Undertake general office administration duties including but not limited so – ordering office supplies, international travel bookings, hospitality, assist with event organisation.
You should have:
· At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in a school environment or similar.
· Knowledge and previous experience using Xero accounting software (highly desirable)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Experience in liaising with customers and a high level of professionalism.
· A warm, friendly and proactive attitude.
