Rainbow Cottage ELC is a highly recommended centre within the local area of Woolgoolga. We are looking for a nurturing, caring, energetic and motivated person who wishes to commence a mature aged traineeship for a Certificate III in Children’s Services to join our team at Rainbow Cottage ELC.

Our not-for-profit, community-based centre is proudly guided by a dedicated team of quality educators and a management committee of volunteer family and community members, ensuring we stay true to the needs and values of the families we serve. Our three-room setting welcomes 46 children daily, providing the perfect balance of structured learning and hands-on play. What truly sets us apart is our expansive natural outdoor space, thoughtfully designed to spark wonder and adventure.

Operating hours are 7:30am-5:30pm and cater for children from 2 years of age to 6 years of age.

Rainbow Cottage is looking for someone who:

Has a genuine passion for children and the sector

Has great communication skills, written and orally

Can work collaboratively with fellow educators

Has a valid, paid Working with Children Check

Is reliable and willing to learn alongside a team of great educators

Is available to work Monday to Friday, rotating roster of centre operational hours

The ability to have fun and enjoy the company of children

A willingness to study, learn and work within a team environment
