SEQ Steel Works are currently seeking a hard-working and committed applicant to commence work as a welder; at their site based in Yatala, QLD.

This is a potential ongoing position, requiring commitment to a Monday to Friday work week. Applicant must be comfortable with working in an outdoor environment, have strong work ethics, punctuality and pride themselves on their commitment to work safely.

Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Erecting structural steel

Bolting purlins

Welding trusses & posts

MIG welding

Laying out chassis

General labouring and yard duties

Use of hand tools

Saturday work a possibility

About you:

Positive attitude towards working safely

Forklift experience advantageous

Working at Heights & EWP tickets favourable

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
