(Migration from Knockout to React) Sydney (Hybrid 3 days WFH)

As a Senior Front-End Developer, you will work closely with the cofounders and clients to create scalable components and front-end solutions for the application, aiming to enhance user experience. The UI components and experience you help create will form the foundation of this new platform. Attention to detail and user experience are crucial. This role provides significant autonomy and responsibility, enabling you to make a meaningful contribution to the renewable energy landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance simulation software tailored for the renewables industry.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, ensuring robust and reliable performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance and innovate their software solutions.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of software development projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in React & Next, TypeScript, and design principles.
• Interest in working with Knockout.js
• Proficiency in backend with C#.NET (Desirable)
• SOLID Principles.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring pixel perfection and an outstanding user experience.
• Professional experience in building UI component systems.
• Ability to collaborate with design teams to create scalable, responsive UI components using CSS and React.
• Experience working with engineers to improve the architecture of front-end applications and shared components.
• A commitment to building a world-class platform experience.

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of professional experience with JavaScript/Typescript with React & Next.js.
• 5+ years of experience in building SaaS web applications and web developer tools using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with RESTful or GRPC APIs and web services
• Understanding of UI/UX Design.
• Strong judgment in selecting methods and techniques for problem-solving.
• Ability to design and build features from limited specifications with minimal day-to-day input.
• Proficient understanding of CI/CD processes and GitHub Actions.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and languages.
• Proven ability to own projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
