We are currently seeking applications for the below on-site roles. Engaged with our client; a leading Tasmanian commercial construction firm – the successful applicants will be rewarded with outstanding working conditions and above award rate schedules, with sites located on the North West Coast between Boat Harbour and Devonport.

For the right personnel who display a can-do attitude, productive work ethic and meet the relevant criteria – these roles can offer up to 45 hours per week, noting that you will initially be engaged on a casual basis.

To be successful, candidates will need to possess the following skills, attributes, and qualifications.

Carpenters / Leading Hand

Certificate III in Carpentry – Essential

White Card – Essential

Possess your own tools

Valid Driver’s Licence & reliable transport

Commercial site experience – advantageous

High attention to detail, work ethic and standards

Ability to read and interpret complex drawings

Scaffolding Ticket, EWP & Working At Heights – all advantageous

Skilled Labourers

White Card – essential

Previous experience on construction sites

Valid Driver’s Licence & reliable transport

Adaptable and able to understand instructions

Strong multi-tasking skills and work ethic

Scaffolding Ticket, EWP & Working at Heights – advantageous

Rates between $38.91 - $39.56 p/h + penalties for Labourers.

Rates between $42.80 - $45.00 p/h + penalties for Carpenters.

Rates for Leading Hand to be negotiated

Those who are successful will need to undergo and pass a full pre-employment medical (including a drug & alcohol screening), as well as complete all relevant site inductions.
