HEI Schools Emerald Early Learning Centre is one of our services located in Emerald, VIC. We are seeking a talented and motivated Centre Cook to join our team.

ABOUT YOU:

Holding recognised and required qualifications such as cookery, food safety supervisor etc.

Having working experience within the early childhood sector

Holding Certificate III in early childhood education preferred

Holding core values of building and maintaining strong relationships and partnerships with children, families and colleagues

Having a mindset of respect and appreciation for a strong team culture of working together

Having an open mind and belief to embrace new early childhood education concepts for a better future for children

Having a National Police Check valid within 6 months or willingness to complete

Holding a current Working with Children Check (Employee)

KEY DUTIES:

Establish suitable menus and recipes with the Centre Director

Prepare meals for all the children in the centre

Make sure all the ingredients in the meals are safe and suitable for children

Ensure the kitchen is clean and safe
