About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to provide high-level evidence-based and best practice clinical services including assessment, intervention and evaluation for homeless consumers presenting with a variety of severe and complex mental health conditions within the Redcliffe and Caboolture area.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • As a member of the multidisciplinary team, deliver high-level Social Work/Occupational Therapy/Psychology clinical services to consumers experiencing homelessness with complex mental health treatment needs based on valid and reliable evidence, in accordance with professional practice, ethical and mental health standards to ensure culturally appropriate consumer focused outcomes.
  • Provide high-level clinical advice and professional advocacy to operational and professional supervisors, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding issues affecting service delivery, including the delivery of profession specific services within the health service.
  • Provide clinical leadership to contribute to the development, implementation, evaluation, and research activities of a contemporary and innovative treatment program for consumers experiencing homelessness.
