FIS provides evidence-based screening, assessment and intervention services for individuals in custody and the community. We focus on areas such as violent and sexual offending, restorative justice, violent extremism and family violence.

As part of the FIS leadership team, you are responsible for the overall management of the following teams and clinical positions: Intake Unit, External Providers, Workforce Development and Support Services, Principal Clinician Restorative Justice and Principal Clinical Advisor.

What you will do

As General Manager, Workforce and Service Support, you are responsible for developing and expanding the Allied Health workforce, front-end processing and intervention planning to ensure access to appropriate programs and services for individuals in prison and the community. This includes a statewide intake and referral service and the procurement and contract management and monitoring portfolio. You are also responsible for workforce planning and projects, including recruitment, and the Support Services team who provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to FIS.

You will also:

  • mentor staff
  • manage professional development
  • provide expert advice on emerging clinical workforce trends
  • build relationships with key partners
  • represent Corrections Victoria at conferences.
